North Coast Engineering, Inc. (NCE), a California Corporation, was founded in 1979 by Mr. Steven J. Sylvester, a civil engineer registered in the State of California. NCE staff at present consists of 16 engineers, surveyors, technicians and support staff.

For over 30 years, NCE has provided a broad spectrum of civil engineering, land surveying, land planning and project management services for local and regional projects. With a total of six registered civil engineers on staff, in-house survey services and a progressive CAD department, we maintain a very high level of technical competence. This is supported by state-of-the-art computer systems and software, and complete electronic field-to-office survey equipment, including conventional, robotic and GPS applications. As a pioneer in the areas of field-to-finish surveying and computer‑aided design and drafting, NCE has developed an efficient system for design analysis and production. With intra‑office communications enhanced by a networked computer system, coordinated project development is effectively maintained.
